This policy explains how Dwaparyug Foundation (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal information when you visit dwaparyug.org, create an account, or donate.

When you use our website we may collect:

• Your name, email address and mobile number when you sign in or donate
• Your PAN, if you choose to give it for an 80G tax certificate
• Details you add to personalise a gift — a name, message, photo or video wish, Instagram handle and preferred delivery date
• Donation records: what you gave, when, and to which campaign
• Basic technical information such as your browser, device and pages visited, to keep the site working and improve it

We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details — payments are processed by Razorpay.

• To process your donation and email your receipt
• To deliver your gift with the personalisation you asked for, on the date you chose
• To share updates and photos of your seva
• To issue your 80G certificate when you have provided a valid PAN
• To sign you in with a one-time code sent to your email
• To send our newsletter, only if you subscribe
• To answer your questions and keep our records accurate, as required by law

Names and messages you add are printed or displayed as part of your gift, and may appear in the photos and videos we share with you and, in some cases, on our social media. Please do not include anything you would not want shown. We may decline content that is inappropriate.

We share only what is needed with trusted service providers who help us run the platform — for example Razorpay (payments), Cloudinary (image storage), our email provider (receipts and one-time codes), our hosting provider and website analytics. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, for example to tax authorities for 80G reporting.

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how the website is used. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; some parts of the site, such as signing in, may not work without them.

We keep donation and tax-related records for as long as Indian law requires. Other information is kept only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above.

You can view and update your name and phone number in My Profile at any time. To ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account, contact us using the details below. Some records, such as donations already used for tax certificates, may need to be retained by law.

We use secure, encrypted connections and limit access to personal information to the people who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
