Refund Policy

1. Nature of Contributions

Every payment made on our platform is a voluntary donation towards our social welfare initiatives and is not a purchase of goods or services. As such, donations are not eligible for standard returns or exchanges once they have been successfully processed.

2. When a Refund May Be Considered

We understand that genuine errors can occur while donating online. We will consider a refund only in the following exceptional circumstances:

• A donation was accidentally made more than once for the same cause (duplicate payment).
• Money was debited from your account, but the transaction was not confirmed or recorded on our platform (failed transaction).
• An incorrect amount was charged due to a technical or billing error on our end.
• A charge was raised without your authorization due to a system or gateway malfunction.

3. When Refunds Will Not Be Issued

Since your contribution directly supports ongoing programs and beneficiaries, we are unable to offer refunds simply because a donor has changed their mind after a donation has been successfully completed. Refunds also cannot be issued once the donated funds have already been allocated or disbursed towards a campaign or beneficiary.

4. How to Request a Refund

Please include your full name, contact details, the transaction ID or receipt number, and a brief reason for your refund request so that our team can verify and process it quickly.

5. Processing Time

Once a refund request is verified and approved, we aim to initiate the refund within 5–7 business days. The amount will be credited back to the original mode of payment used for the donation. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take a few additional days for the amount to reflect in your account.

6. Tax Receipts

If an 80G donation receipt has already been issued for your contribution, please note that the receipt will need to be cancelled as part of processing any approved refund, in accordance with applicable tax regulations.

7. Changes to This Policy

Dwaparyug Foundation may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our processes or applicable regulations. Any updates will be posted on this page along with a revised effective date.
